The graphic motif is an attempt to evoke the figure of Henryk Wieniawski - an outstanding musician, composer, and violinist. It also refers to the international violin competition held in Poznań in his name. The graphic aims to encapsulate all of this in the simplest form possible, and the color theme is not arbitrary.
The lower shape in burgundy is a reference to wood, the material from which violins are made, and in combination with white, it creates a connection to the Polish flag. Thus, the graphic not only depicts the instrument but also imparts a local character and situates it in the context of the globally recognized figure of the eminent Pole.
