The competition task for "Open Spaces" was to design a shelter for the residents of Deszczno in the Lubusz Voivodeship.
The project aimed to address issues of vandalism, provide protection against wind and atmospheric precipitation, and consider cost-effective production methods. Due to a limited budget, solutions were constrained to a steel structure and polycarbonate cladding. These materials were used in an unconventional way, creating an oval shape rather than a rectangular one, which is typical for shelters made from these materials.
In collaboration with the contractor A2HM, we participated in the realization of the designed shelter. The process concluded with the implementation of an incomplete project. Work on a second version of the shelter began under complete design supervision. Unfortunately, the version aligned with the original concept was not installed in Deszczno.
